Promoting crisis resilience: Developing and validating quality indicators to prepare outpatient medical practices for crisis situations
As a result of climate change, the risk of damage to health is also increasing in Germany. The project has developed and evaluated quality indicators and resilience criteria so that medical practices can protect vulnerable patient groups in particular in such climate-related crises and respond in a targeted manner. The quality indicators developed cover four fields of action: individual resilience, prevention, practice organisation and resilience to climate change. In the view of the Innovation Committee, the set of indicators developed can make a relevant contribution for medical practices to prepare for crisis situations in a targeted and adequate manner.
