The Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at the University of Regensburg will host a Planetary Health Spring School from 11-14 April 2024 with the focus on "Planetary health literacy: moving from knowledge to action" for around 30 students from all over Germany.
The course is intended to offer interested students the opportunity to acquire knowledge on the topic of planetary health - i.e. the connection between human health and environmental factors (e.g. climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution) - and to develop strategies and methods for applying this knowledge in transformative action for healthy and sustainable societies.
